Mike Ryan and His Monster Truck are Back!
He’s back! One of our happier moments of 2016 was welcoming back the extremely talented adventurer Mike Ryan to the TOP 1 Oil Global Racing Community.
Mike’s storied career behind the wheel is highlighted by his official Guinness World Record Jump, his 7-time Pike’s Peak Champion Freightliner truck, and his growing resume of Hollywood stunts.
In 2014, Mike Ryan piloted a massive semi-truck and trailer during a Guinness World Record attempt for the Longest Distance Jump in a semi-truck. The truck jumped an incredible 83 feet 7 inches, over a Lotus Formula 1 Car, setting a new World Record in the process.
This year Mike will compete in the 100th anniversary of the famed Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb in Colorado Springs, Colorado this June. Mike’s massive Freightliner semi truck will be competing in the Pikes Peak Open class—one of 16 different classes of competition at the International Hill Climb event. There are a total of nine classes for four-wheel vehicles and seven classes for two-wheel vehicles, with 100 total entries for competition.
